I have frame rails tacked together and clamped in place.
Rear end already has multi hole brackets welded @ angle for shocks.

Pivot points need to be parallel but what determines shock length?
Once the cross bar is located I can simply measure for shock length.

cross bar placement is based on? Amount of room? easiest place to locate?

Is there a preference when it comes to length for shock? stay away from a particular minimum or maxium length. I have a little flexibility in where I mount a crossbar for upper shock mounts. Should I try to fit the largest length shock possible. (Just tossed in another photo, starting thinking amount of chop before I went on vacation. 7" chop of mock up window frame.)

Thanks
