Necchi sewing machine????

Is this machine worth buying to try and do a couple of interiors. I have 2 T buckets that are done except for the interiors. I was thinking of trying to buy this cheap $200 machine and do these 2 cars. I need you pros to help me here a little bit. THANKS

If that's all you're going to do, and you can stand a lot of frustration, the fabric you use is not very thick, you use the biggest needle the machine can handle, you don't need to sew any welts, and you don't want to sew the seat covers to sew foam, this machine will work. You won't be able to sew with any bigger thread than nylon size 69. Do yourself a favor and don't use this type of home machine. You will end up with something that is no better than ordinary. Why not find a seamstress near you and let her(or him) sew it for you?

I do not think so myself as I own a Viking machine which is OK for making shirts and simple stuff but I would not try a full on interior with it..

Perhaps you can do something simple with carpet and something simple on the seats..

Where you live in Tennessee, there are furniture factories all over the place. Find a sewer to do it for you.
