The 290 horse 350 crate engine is a good buy for the money. It`ll have more pep to it than the 305 ever had.

Painting Exhaust manifold

Hey all you Good people. I want to paint the exhaust manifold that will go on a new sb 350 before I put it back in the old 79 Elk. Has anyone had good luck with some of the high temp ceramic paint.
Thanks Low and slow

Your best bet is to have the manifold blasted so it`s spotless clean. Then order the exhaust manifold coating from Eastwood coatings.

doublevision thanks.

I had checked into sand blasting and powdercoating. However the coating is a little out of my price range. I will check out the eastwood paint. Is sand blasting ok for the manifold.
