Small camshaft that will work with your computer and a double roller timing chain. Even if you don`t change the camshaft, I`d still add a timing chain if it has over 40,000 miles on it.

Does cheap = $100 or $500?
Is it a port fuel injected or throttlebody? Really cheap would be checking air pressure in tires. I would work at making things lighter, spend some money on the cylinder heads. |

yeah my car has 43,000 miles on the 305 i had an old 305 but the owner b4 me cracked the block.
I mean my friends are telling me one thing but i just dont know what to believe one says put a supercharger but the supercharger for my car is like 3g's it aint worth it. another says cold air intake, and my cousin says put a 373 rear end. are you sure that is the logical becaus i want speed at low costs i have rebuilt an '71 cuda w/ a 426 hemi and its totally different im used to dealing with mopar. I have a 305 fuel injected |

hmmmm.
What do you mean you rebuilt a 71 Hemi Cuda? Restored? Do you own it? Unless your car already has 3.42 gears I think your cousin is the smartest guy you've asked (besides us of course). 3.73's will give you the most bang for your buck if your car has 2.73s or 3.08s. |
