need advise to find a cheap tig welder for working with alloy

i have my torch set and my lincoln mig pak 15 with gas
i was planning to get the spool gun kit and 100 percent argon tank to weld alloy but it truns out i cant do that with my machine
so instead lincoln wants me to get a 100bucks alloy kit which is a different liner etc.

but then i am thinking maybe there is a cheap tig that will do me fine for the little use it will see..

any ideas what to get? say under 800?

i want to play around and make a short runner intake manifold for my car

I can assure you that the intake shown was not welded with a cheapo TIG welder. I do TIG welding for a living and it would be a very nice challenge to build something like that.
Mig welding an aluminum intake system would be very tough even for someone with serious welding experience and a good welder. It would need to to completely covered because the welds would hurt just to look at them.
This quality of welding does not happen overnight.
Get a good welder and some good instruction and practice practice practice.
