Need advise on seat foam?

I have new upholstery for my 62 Galaxie and will be putting it on in the next couple of weeks. The drivers bucket seat has a hole in the upholstery and some of the foam cushion is gone. What can I do to fix this? Can I just buy foam and fill the hole?

Any advice appreciated.

Bob

Yes, you can buy foam and repair the hole and missing part. Foam is available in many "Densities" and you want to get material that is similar to the original. An electric steak knife works good for sculpturing the foam and you can get the correct adhesive.
