Need Aluminum Fitting

hi all

i was hoping someone would know where i can get a Aluminum 5/8-18 Female inverted flare fitting???

i thought i had found one at Summit #640610...i talked to the tech guy before i ordered it and he assured me that it was the correct ALUMINUM fitting i wanted. when it arrived at my house it was metal...Grrr.

i called back and the tech guy at Summit and he said that the internet catalog WAS wrong lol.

i'm sending that fitting back...BUT i still need the Aluminum one.

any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Not a problem!!! Check these guys out. I'm surprised Summit couldn't help you... They carry Russell fittings, etc. Check local speed shops in your area as well.

Godman did not have that fitting. but he gave me a good idea about using a bung...i will try that idea, if i can't find my fitting that i really need/want.

but these are the type of websites i am looking for hot rodders and racers.

good idea Kleen56

sometimes what you need is right in your backyard...I'll look around here some.

as for Summit, they sent me a metal Russell fitting (#640610). lol that is the one I'm sending back.

i can't believe this is turning into such a headache lol

I just listed a few fittings in the classifieds, but no inverted flares to fit your needs, maybe you use a different configuration.
