Need a carb idea
Okay folks...I have a 350 chev,bored 030 over,194 fuely heads(camel humps)HP270 thumper cam w/.449 lift,270 dur.,and a 107 seperation,10.5-1 compression,a holler street dominator dual flange intake.Also a TH 350 with so far a stock converter,soon to change,and a 4;56 rear gear,all in a 92 S10.What im trying to figure out is what cfm carb to go with.I was hoping to go with about a 750 dbl pmpr but i may be a lil overboard.Its pretty much a weekend toy so milage is unheard of..
It doesnt have to do 80000 rpm but its more of a low ender with the ability to rev...(make sense?)Ive been looking at the spread bore holley dbl pumpers but like i said,i may be overdoesing....Any thoughts would buy ya'll a beer!Really,Id apreciate any ideas,on a carb and maybe a tunig extra...Thanx

I'd go with a 650, with those gears and a loose converter, I'd make it a double pumper. You might wanna check out v8s10.org too , lots of V8 S10 guys there, lots of GREAT info too,

The 3310 750 Holley would be a decent carb for your set-up also.

I was gonna suggest a 650 Vac Sec. Although, I have used the 750 cfm 3310 in the past before and it worked great. If you opt for the adjustable vacuum diaphragm then you'll be able to swap out springs and really dial in the secondary opening. I really enjoyed that carb.
