Need to clean blast cabinet?

I'm getting 50 lbs of glass bead to use in my blasting cabinet so I can clean up some aluminum parts. In the past I have used regular silica blasting sand and also the "black magic" type black sand in the cabinet. I'm wondering how careful I need to be in cleaning out the residue of these two types of sands before I introduce the new glass beads. Can I just dump out the hopper and run air through the gun for 30-60 seconds or should I be doing more in order to prevent impurities in the glass media.

I'd dump it, blow it out and wipe it down but not be overly concerned. The first time you clean something you will have impurities.

Thanks Kevin. I can now blast with a clear conscience.
