Need donor for serpentine p.s. pulley- 4 1/2"dia.

My buddy has been converting his 350 ( in a 56 gmc pickup with Nova clip) to a serpentine belt system. He got the works off of a 94 van. He's managed to overcome a few challenges with this conversion and just needs a smaller pulley for the power steering pump to get it all done. It now has a 5" pulley and he's like to get it down to a 4 1/2" diameter. Does anyone know a donor vehicle he can check out at the wreckers??

Its probably easier to get the pulley from the parts store, considering the price of gas to drive to the junkyard. I think the serpentine pulley is around $10-12 new from most parts stores.

It is an option to go to a parts store but the first thing they want is a year make and model and I don't know what vehicle had a 4 1/2" diameter pulley.

I took a quick look at some auto parts web sites, and 4 1/2" does not seem to be a common size for serpentine PS pulleys. Most of the replacement pulleys are 5 1/2" or 5 3/8", or even as large as 6 1/2".

Good luck with your search.
