Need Frame Advice/HELP for my 1957 Chevy Truck

So I picked up a 1957 CHEVY PICKUP-

1 TON
LONG BED (Step Side)
Big Back Window
....

I'd like to put it on a newer, more updated frame... Also, I need to update the wiring as well... I heard S10 frames can work...

But I need a 123" wheel base... any advice would be greatly appreciated. !!

Livinthedream57, I have a short bed 57 pickup which I was going thru the same process you are about 3 yrs ago. I decided to graph a generation 2 camaro clip into my original frame. I rebuild everything in the front and installed 1" lowering 400 # springs. I also when with a mid 85's Iroc Z steering box. This went very well and I believe this truck is going to handle great with the spring upgrade, new bushing, and a 1 1/8 inch sway bar.

If I were in your shoes, I would shorten your bed and frame to be a short bed. Just a thought. Good luck and have fun working on it. Lastly, keep us informed on what you decide to do with updates along the way.

Tom

p.s. Here is a link to pics of my truck.

I heard that some people had a hard time with grafting front clips on... and it may be a little too complex for me... hence why i was pondering just doing a direct frame swap... ANY IDEAS for a whole frame
