only other way that he can check without pulling cover or rearend is to spin the rear wheel one complete revolution and count driveshaft revolutions that will give you a good indication as to what it is ,,three complete rev,of the driveshaft and a little past it to one complete spin of the rear tire will tell you if it is a 310 ?? old school ????
