Need Headers for Comet GT 1974

Hi,

I want to know if somebody or people here in this forum know a brand of headers (not to expensive) for a Mercury Comet 1974 with a 347 stroker in it...I was only find some really expensive headers...can you help me to find some good price headers..

The headers I was finding here (and only those parts) are too expensive.

Part # Brand
D668-R - Doug's Headers
6110HKR - Hooker Super Competition Headers

Thanks again!

Stephane

You should be able to get regular hooker Competition Headers under $200, flowtec has some decent headers also. dynomax . http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...e+matchboolean . click on link and scroll down and look at these choices. Cole

Hedman Hedders pert #88300 is 1-5/8" primary X 3" collector for the 1969-77 Maverick. They are the same car. They don't list anything in a racier size, however.

Thanks,,,,but...

My friend have C-6 Transmission...most hedman headers will only work with c-4....

When I look at Hooker (with the cheap price)...they wrote :

Will not fit Dart/Windsor head.....but he have World Sportsman 200cc head...Is that all right...hooker part # 6901

Thanks...

All along, I thought they fit good enough. That is what my mechanic friend told us before.

I have these on the 72 maverick and they fit great. You will have to lift the engine a little to get the drivers side in. Search ford maverick forums in google and it will bring up the ford maverick mmb. It is specifically for mavericks and comets and is a very family friendly site just like that one. I am on there my screenname is Jhodges
