Need help with 350 Chevy Casting number

I have a 74 Chevy El Camion that I'm redoing, and parts are not matching up for the motor that's in it. I would appreciate help with 2 things.. What does the VIN show that came with the car from the factory 1DS0R4R485484.. And what year is the 350 (casting # 3970010) Numbers on front of the block are 14Z474808 & V07010MR... Any help would be appreciated form this first time board user!

Ok i will break it down for you.
1=chevrolet D=Elcamino custom 80=2-door sedan pickup R=V8 400 cid 2 -bbl
41974 and 85484= production #.
That "S" you have down has to be a "8" there was no letter S for that vehicle.

Any chance that V07010 MR could actually be V0701C MR??, which is 1974 350, 145 hp, auto trans, 2 barrel carb, in an A- body(Chevelle/El Camino). Look close at that stamping, and don't discount the fact that it was stamped by a human being, mistakes do get made and it could really be that the "0" should have been a "C".

"14Z" in the other number also indicates 1974 vehicle installation.

350 numbers? 74 El Camino

Thanks for your help Cole...The "S" must be an "8" The title shows S, but the number on the dash is an 8 that looks a little different than the other 8's on the VIN, (go figure that they had 2 different 8 stamps)....
The O is probably a C as you suggest..I wrote it down as a C as first then took another look and thought it might be a O. Anyway, thanks again for the info...
