Need help with 4L80 to th350 swap

I finally got under the truck and looked around. I need to put a 9"tail th350 in it temporary until I get a 700R4 built, since they are the same length it'll be an easy swap later.

I need to know what wires to put the 5 ohm 5 watt resistor between to fool the computer so it doesn't give a trouble code. And what wires go to the speedometer.
This is a '92 chevy 3500, I've taken the computer controls out of an '88 2500 and a '89 1500 and didn't have a problem leaving the speedo alone...it still worked.
But all I see for wiring on this truck is a big round connector and three two terminal plugs, none will come close to the tail of any transmission and they don't look anything like the speedo connectors on the other trucks.
Where does the 4L80 get the speedo signal from?
Any help on these questions or any other problems you think I might run into are appreciated...Thanks.
