Need help with '59 Ford wagon
Hi... My name is Mark Long and I live in Winder GA. My company makes and sells stamped steel '69 Chevy Pick-ups in 1:15 scale. I am also the dealer for the southeast for the Auto Twirler, a body-off restoration rotisserie. I just acquired a 59 Ford 2 Door Ranch Wagon and am in the process of restoring to a 60's style Hot Rod. I have several questions about brakes and steering. I want to convert to discs on the front... drums will be OK for the rear... what is available and do I need to change the master cylinder? Will I need a booster? Also, can I install a power rack without changing to new front clip?
Thanks, Mark |

I have a 59 Fairlane Galie 500 w/ power steering that I am parting out. I can hook you up with whatever steering parts you need. I'm not looking to make a killing on these. Let me know what you need and tell me what you can offer. The parts are not new but they do work.
If there is anything else you need, trim, grill, glass etc. let me know. I am working fast and plan on hauling the carcas off in a week or two. What exactly is 60's style? Thanks for your offer. Where in Florida are you located... I'm in the Atlanta area. I'm in pretty good shape as far as parts that could come from your 4 door, but I might need a windshield if yours is in better shape than mine. I'll be in Moultrie GA for the fall show as well as Daytona for the Rod Run. The 60's look is rolled pans, mild top chop, lowered with a raked stance and a 60's style wheel/tire combination. |

I have a windshield available. It has a scratch on one side from someone running wipers (maybe without a blade, I don't know). Email me at timothyshawn_99@yahoo.com if you want a picture.
