Need help - Can not post photos to a thread??

To get the photos from the camera to the computer I connected a card reader to the computer. The photos show up in the computer under devices and printers under the heading of multi card device.

I then go to the forum click on post reply, then click on manage attachments, then click on browse. I scroll down until I find multi card device. I click on multi card device and that shows up in the window at the bottom left. On the right of that, there is a box that I select pictures. I click on open, and a window pops up that says file not found.

What am I doing wrong??

Thanks for any assistance.

if you are on a mac you're on your own

windows

start menu, click my computer, click the card reader, or whatever opens up the photo's on the cards.. then open a photo.. then right click.. and choose "save picture as" and then click on your pictures library/file and name the photo and click save..
to upload to this site, when you open the post box, up at top you'll see the A with an x through it, then a smiley face then a paper clip, click on paper clip.. at first box in pop up click "browse" then your picture library/file and then click on photo you want to upload, it'll write the photo's "address" in the box to the left of the browse button you clicked earlier, now click the upload to the right of the browse button, you'll see "please wait file uploading.. when done, finish post, preview than post/submit.. done..

Finally able to post photos to thread. Thanks

I wanted to thank everyone who responded. With your help I was able to post 2 photos to my thread. If you want to take a look at it, the thread is under the body exterior section named "Repair or replace rear quarter panel on corvette." The photos made all the difference.
