Need help with Chevy Block Code

I recently got a 350 from a buddy of mine but I don't know what year the block is. The code on the block is K1216TPA. I've looked on all the websites with codes and none of them have TPA. And I've checked and re-checked and it is a "P", So I would really appreciate it if someone could help me. Thanks.

-Carlos.

I don't find TPA on my reference sites either, TRA is the closest. What are the casting numbers on the bell housing extension, drivers side?

TPA: Truck suffix codes aren't all on all databases. If you have any more ID questions you can look here for more help.;)

1992 350 truck, 210 hp, RPO L-05, TBI

If this is correct, the date code should be late 1991 to 1992. It should be a 1-piece rear main seal block. Heads could have been changed but would have had swirl ports like the c/n 14102193 head originally.

Cobalt, where did you find that? I'm pretty much down to NastyZ28's site, MORTEC seems to have folded again.

Yeah, Mortec is even gone from the wayback archives the last time I looked.

I found the OP's suffix at my "go-to" site: SBC suffix codes from chevymania.com, under Suffix codes.

I had looked on NastyZ28's too and plently of other websites but thank you. I really appreciate it.
