What is the rear gear ratio and rear tire diameter?
What is the max amount of valve lift your springs will handle?
Are you willing to replace the valve springs if nessessary?
Thinking Lunati cam #401A1LUN
This a state of the art Ultradyne Street/strip/oval tight lash design. You can get it from Lunati or Bullet Cams.
Needs 4.10's very responsive in a 327 4 speed with good compression and heads. You'll feel like your feets are half way off the ground.
It will have the idle you are looking for and a lot more power than your present cam without getting carried away. Will need a modified distributor advance curve.
