I need your opinion on the 180cc rhs pro action iron heads VS the edelbrock 185cc performer RPM aluminum heads. There pretty close to the same price range as far as I can tell. which would you recommend out of the two? are the rhs iron heads that much better to pay the same as the edelbrocks being aluminum?

RHS is one of the leaders in iron head manufacturers, those would be the ones i would go after, i have never liked edelbrock heads although i have seen that they have stepped up their game here lately. the way i would look at it is look at the price of any good iron head and you will see that they are all about 900-1000 dollars, then look up any good alm head and you will see that they are much closer to 1500+, and in my opinion the only exception to this rule would be the Brodix IK heads, they are alm and cost about 1000-1200, but i believe that they are made of a lower quality alm than the rest of their heads

Ok if I went with the 180cc RHS pro action iron heads I have a lunati bracket master II cam 230/230 292/292 480 lift how would that cam perform with thoughs heads? if it would do good I would like to use it because I already have it, but if not I will go ahead and get a new one.

it would work great, just throw in a set of gears and a decent stall and you're good to go. those heads can handle more cam than that if they need to

ok I have 4:10 gears and I'm going to get a stall converter. what stall would you recommend?

i recomend a 2500-2800 stall

This may be a dumb question, but I am planing on getting all of this work done by a mechanic.Would it be ok to use my stock converter for a little while? Then I can get a new one and install it my self to save some labor cost.
