Need help compiling parts list....
Hi, i'm new to this forum and to hot rodding...I'm planning on building a BB-454 engine for a 1969 camaro i recently purchased from a salvage car. I was planning on having around 450hp (without any form of supercharing or nitrous oxide). If anyone would be so kind as to help me compile a parts list, i would be very thankful.

Welcome to the board m0nk. My first suggestion is to check out the knowledge base. Tons of good information in there. Also if this is your first build then read as much as you can find about 454's so that when you get into it you'll know what to look for concerning the build up, problem areas, and some places will offer tips from expereinced builders. As for a parts list.. Sorry can't help ya too much there.. More into small blocks which fit under my hood a little easier. But seems to me 450 hp from a 454 should only be a few mild upgrades from stock.

If a 100 people posted and told you how to do that, they would all be different.
Find all the books you can. One good one is, How to hot rod a big block. 450 hp. is pretty healthy. Good Luck. Troy
