need help on converting column shift too floor shift .

i have a 69 chevelle that was originally a column shift and i installed a b&m floor shifter how can i hook up the back up lights and the neutral safety switch. my shifter has the switches for hooking up these accesories.and i have tryed too jump the wires off of the existing switch on the column but i have had no success.and i have checked the wires for voltage and there isnt any .they worked fine when the column shift was still installed i have no blown fuses any suggestions would be helpful.

Doc here,

Locate your OLD NS and BU switches and mark the wires as such.

On the NS switch, put a meter on either wire, and ground set for V X 50 or autorange, then *-->Hit the starter<--*, It should go to 12 volts in the "Start" Position.

If not try the same on the other wire..If that does, extend those wires to your new location on the B&M linkage.

On the Backup lamps, turn the key on and just jumper them across both wires, The lamps should light..If so extend those to the BU location on the B&M Linkage.
