Need help on dual fuel tank wiring on 86 chevy truck

I know this is not the correct site for this question but i have tried truck sites with no luck.I have a 1986 chevy 1ton truck that has been converted from diesel (when new) to a 1979 350. I need someone with a wiring diagram to tell me where the 5 wires going to the fuel tank switching valve go to.The colors are, red which goes to the RH tank sending unit (i guess),brown, brown w/white stripe, light green, dark green i think the brown w/white stripe goes th the LH tank not sure on that one. Please Help!!

I cant remember what all the wire colors are but on my truck (its a diesel conversion too) there was a heater inside the tanks.
I got the truck after someone else bastardized it.
They hooked up the power wire that was supposed to go to heater to the fuel level float, fried it, lucky they didnt blow themselves up.

Good thing I read this post, as I just bought an 85 Suburban and plan on changing to a gas engine.
Guess I will have to look at the books on these vehicles a little better.

Is it a stock GM switching valve?
