Need help finding out what engine do i have?

i got and what vehicle it came from. i got a 3970010 block, id is v0605TWH. ive searched from page to page online to find out whats TWH suffix and i see no records of it. im 100% im not reading the id wrong. other staping numbers in the engine are E165 wich means it was manufacture on may 16 1976 no? heads# is 3986339x. 4barrel carb

The 339 (no "x") heads are small valve. Could be what you have is a big truck engine, some of those suffix numbers tend to be overlooked.

Check to see if the crank is forged.
