What I'm doing is using two caddy trunk latches to close my tilt nose I have all the parts switch,relays,, fuse box motors and latches.everythings from the junk yard but it all works.
I have the motors and latches mounted ,now I'm having trouble getting the wiring right.
When I was in the boneyard I just snipped the wires insted of getting the whole harness...I have all the plugs too but I cant figure out how to wire it and get it all to work. I'm not sure of the year the caddys were but its the one with three wires to the motor red,blk,and org...I tried to find wiring diagrams but not having any luck, any suggestions?I'd rather not buy a whole book on an old caddy just for this.I dont even know if my idea will work yet.

Hey DBM, try these. Seems not many of the diagrams show the trunk latch circuits. These are from a 95. Only ones I could find that even closely resembled your wire colours.

That second link was exactly what I was looking for. I had already figured out the first link but I was having a lot of trouble with the switch that reverses polarity to the motor...shouldn't be any trouble now ....Thanks ,If I could only figure out how to find this kind of stuff myself,oh well, its nice to know people that can too...Now I just have to get the wife to copy this so I can get it to the shop.

I can't really take any credit for finding the diagrams. Our local library system subscribes to one of the automotive repair sites on line. Probably not supposed to be copying them, but oh well!
