need help with floor sections

hello my 38 olds coupe has the rear floor pan rusted out on the dr side b piller is not connected any more all so the rocker on that one side is not connected any more i was going to fix the rocker and b piller got my door gaps looking as good as i could get with body lines matching put in a brace from side to side so the rear panel lined up good with the door edge so i decided to tack in the rocker and the rocker to door gap was about 1/2 inch to big so now i have it close rocker gap and door lined up i am thanking i need to replace the rear floor pan first then tack rocker and b piller am i thanking right? also i was wondering what type of bead patterns would work on the floor pan best i was thanking of a lines in all 4 corners and 2 lines in between towards the center of the panel or would straight lines across the panel be better? i would enter a pic on here but i don't know how i have pice of the coupe and my wifes willys pu im working on here thank you kelly
