in the back of the 302 ford head there is ports for the air pump they hole's are threaded what are the thread size are they a 5/8 nc hope that some one can help with this thank's
i answered it my self it is a 5/8 n/c thread clean thread's with 5/8 tap pick up some 5/8 bolt cut to size put lock tight on and that one more thing done :embarrass
There are also inserts already made out of stainless that are threaded on the outisde(5/8) and on the inside(7/16 I think) so you can use the hole for accessories. full line auto parts stores carry them since Ford used them to block the end that didn't use the air pump. The extra attaching point comes in handy sometimes.
