Need help... hardener for Blitz Black paint

Hi all, Not wanting to stir up any debate about pros and cons of Blitz Black, I am hoping someone can help me out.

I have read a ton on this site and the Crankshaft Coalition site. Based on what I have been able to find, the two hardeners recommended are;

JD Hardener # REN3001
Valspar Hardener # 3389

Here's my problem, in San Diego, I cannot find either of these available. I have TCP Global (PPG and Kustom Shop) and a Sherwin Williams shop. Also a NAPA paint store.

Has anyone used another brand of hardener for Blitz Black? I want to spray this weekend and didn't think I was going to have problems getting the hardener.

Just in case someone asks the obvious, I can't go to where I bought it as I bought it in Las Vegas and won't be making it there before Saturday.

Thanks for any help!!!!

Mojo56 - Thanks for the link but most all of that info was copied from the two sources I listed above.

BOBCRMAN - I am not having any luck finding any BASF products locally.

Anyone else found a compatable hardener? I found that someone say a synthetic enamal hardener would work. Thoughts???

Thanks. I do know I can have it shipped... I don't want to pay $$$$ for Overnight shipping. It would likely cost more than the actual product and I need two pints.

Looking to buy something local.

Surely there has to be a John Deere dealer in CA that has it in stock. I got all my product, including the hardener from one here in CO. I did a search and there this one seems close to you and it looks like they have it all. Heck, they even have an after hours emergency phone number.

*edit* though I did forget about CA VOC requirements.

Bingo! Gotta love CA.

Already checked with them. They sell spray paint but no hardener.
