hello everyone a friend of mine has a holley and he wanted me to look up the numbers on it so i did now here is my question the numbers were 3310-2 ok i found that and it said that was a 750,4160 model there were some other numbers on the carb under the 3310-2 i think they were like 1482 or something so what do those numbers mean ,another thing is his is a double pumper with mech. secondaries but the only carbs i could find with those numbers had vac. secondaries so why is that, well thanks for all the help guys
The 3310-2 is supposed to be a vacuum operated secondary with a metering plate instead of a jet plate. I suspect someone has put the main body on a double pumper throttle plet. The plate usually has the # stamped on it to match the carb. I believe the 750 dp carb was a 4778.The other #'s you asked about are production date codes.
You are correct on the site. They must have changed it. I used a few months ago to check the carbs I built.
I will go back and edit it out.
The carb part number is on the front top of the choke housing. The top one is the carb #. http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/CarbList.pdf
