need help on how to rebuild a 4l60e on a camaro
hi i have a 4l60e that i want to try to rebuild but i cant find any sites on how to do this can any one help me thanks

Tricks...hmm. Those really have to be learned by the individual. My tricks may not work for you and vice versa.
A few: Take detailed quality digital photos for reference. Note any and all witness marks on hard parts, especially pump vanes. Reinstall hairpins that secure solenoids from the bottom up when the VB is disassembled. Never wipe parts off with 'rags'. Clean and forced air dry only. Tools, books and specialty tools lessen the need for 'tricks' ATSG has an update handbook for 4L60E and 4L65E. Might consider this one as well as a basic teardown & reassembly book. Intelligence is a good trick too.

ok that is helpful thank so now i have some what an idea now. but i came across another problem my car pushes 500hp and the rebuild i was getting turned out to be a stock one what should i do when i am making that much hp
