need help or ideas

I have a 1988 Chevy K-1500 pickup that I am going to cover the dash with 1/4" foam then leather. I need help on how to deal with the defroster vent that is part of the dash, specifically is there a billet or wood insert to cover this or a way to handle the leather on this part.

Thanks in advance

These arent for your specific truck, but they could easily be used on your dash. I found them doing a simple search. Id recommend NOT buying from that company, it is a HORRIBLE company to deal with. I just posted the link to show you whats out there.
