Need help identifying a Borg Warner T-10 transmission

I need help identifying a Borg Warner T-10 transmission. I would like to know what type of car this transmission came out of. The tag number is 3A3-H-1. Is there a website that would have this information or can anyone here provide this? I appreciate the help.

T-10 trans question.

Do you have a casting number off of the main case?

I would also need to know how many splines are on the input shaft (clutch) and rear output (yoke).

From that, I should be able to give you good idea what it's out of.

T-10 trans question

Sorry for the delay. I just retired and am now finally checking into this again. LOL

The casting numbers on the main case are T10H-1. The casting numbers on the rear case are T10B-7. It also has a date stamp of 12 17 62.

The number of splines on the input shaft is 10.
The number of splines on the rear output yoke is 28.

And again, the tag number is 3A3-H-1.

Thanks for any help that can be provided on this. Curious to know what type of vehicle this transmission came out of.

T10H-1 is FORD, I don't have my book handy, but there are narrow bolt patterns and wide bolt patterns for the trans-to-bellhousing. So you need to make sure you have a bellhousing that fits.
T10B-7 should be (if I remember correctly) for the Galaxie chassis.

No idea on the ratios inside after all these years. You'll need to either count the teeth on the cluster inside the trans or you can put it in 1st gear and turn the OUTPUT shaft TEN times, have someone count the number of times the INPUT shaft turns. Divide by 10 and thats your first gear ratio. Example: turn output 10 times, input turns approx 26.5 times...divide by 10 and you have a 2.64 1st gear T10. You can do this for all the reduction gears (1st through 3rd). Remember 1st gear is towards the back and 4th gear is at the front.
