Need help identifying these seats (Mustang?)

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify these seats that my father-in-law wants to sell. He is 100% sure he pulled them out of his sister's "60s" Mustang about 30 years ago after the car was wrecked. I posted them and I got a response saying that they are NOT Mustang seats. I searched for pics online of 64-73 Mustang seats and I cannot find any that look like these. So, can anyone tell me 1) that these are definitely NOT early Mustang seats and/or 2)what car they are from? Any help is appreciated...

Those are definitely not from an early Mustang. These seats aren't even close. The seat back is too high for one thing. The higher seat backs with integrated headrest are more early 70's. 60's Mustang seats have a panel on the back of the seat back. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

I don't have the pictures of the completed seats for some reason, but here are 3 pictures of what a 60's Mustang seat looks like.

yeah those look like the other pics I've found online of 60s Mustang seats. The 70s ones are taller but they don't quite look like the ones he has either. Thanks for the input!

Since you don't know what the seats are, why not advertise them as seats for a street rod and give some measurements as to height, width, etc... Street rodders are always looking for seats for their next ride....

The vinyl is definately Ford but if they came out of a mustang it would be 71-3.

Those seats are not out of a 70 to 73 Mustang either, all of those year cars had plastic panels on the back of the seat backs.

I'll probably do this, just not looking forward to suggesting to my FIL that his memory might not be as good as it used to be LOL
