The only way this transmission shifts is through the use of solenoid valves that control fluid flow inside the transmission. You CANNOT simply connect one or two wires and have it shift. The only ways to get it to work properly are to 1) buy an aftermarket trans controller for about $1000 or so, 2) find a standalone trans computer from a 91-93 diesel truck with a 4L80E, or 3) hardwire the solenoids to a set of switches on the dash and manually shift using the buttons.
