Need help making my 4L80e shift

I'm taking a 454 & 4L80e out of a 91 chevy suburban & putting it in my 85 chevy dually. I'm switching it from throttle body to carburetor so I can't use the sensors. I need help figuring out how to make the tranny work w/ the new set up. The 4L80e has wires that connect to it on the side....I've heard that I can connect 1 of the wires to the battery & the other to a TAC & it would shift properly.....not sure.....somebody PLEASE HELP!!!!!

The only way this transmission shifts is through the use of solenoid valves that control fluid flow inside the transmission. You CANNOT simply connect one or two wires and have it shift. The only ways to get it to work properly are to 1) buy an aftermarket trans controller for about $1000 or so, 2) find a standalone trans computer from a 91-93 diesel truck with a 4L80E, or 3) hardwire the solenoids to a set of switches on the dash and manually shift using the buttons.
