a 5 speed is gonig to be costly..
the t-5 will not live long behind your engine.. in fact.. g.m. would not sell a 3rd gen with a 350/5spd
if you want a stick.. you'll need a tko 5spd or find a t56 6spd and plan on 2-3 grand to change it over..
if you stay with an auto a good rebuilt 7004r or 2004r will run you about 1200-1400+ converter and new driftshaft (if 7004r)
I'd see if you can find 3:73 rear gears first.. and try them..
as they are a ton cheaper...
