Post need help with quadrajunk carb

i need help on tuning my carb i think the carb is running to rich pluggs are fouling

Q-jet carbs are really tunable but have a few corrections that need to be made. What engine carb are you running?

not sure what kinda carb it is rodchester or what but a 4 brl quad sitting on a 350 bored .30 over runs fine just that the pluggs are black i dont know where the mixture screws are or know much about carb work

the mixture screws are on the front at the bottom of a Q-jet,the older carters,now edelbrock.and on the sides of holleys just behind the fuelbowl close to the bottom towards the front.

ok i found the screws do the go in or out
they are in the front theres one on the drivers side and one on the passenger side witch is witch

there is one for each primary,to lean out the mixture turn them in. what i do is turn them in until the motor changes idle, then give them half a turn after you find where the idle returns.

got it the carb works fine now i ujusted the mixture and leanded it out thanks for the help fellas
