I am thinking of removing my ac system. since this is my first car and I am new to tunning cars I would appreciate any and all advice. Before I do anything i would like if my defroster and heater will still work with the ac removed. and how should I go about removing ac

Since you want the heat/defrost to work all you need is to renove the freom from the system and pull the compressor and lines and get a new belt that is the correct length (several of the 'stang shops list them)and cap the a/c connections into the car. Some later vehicles may require cutting one of the lines near the firewall, you'll be able to see the connector if they are there.
