need help upgrading my rear in my avalanche

hi my name is paul does anybody out there know how i can convert a 2500 14bolt rear 8 lug to a 6 lug i bought a 2500 hd rear and would like to put it in my truck what do i do i know i have to change the purges but what do i do for the axles so it can b a six lug if u know anything about this please help me thank paul

So you are swapping a 9.5 14 bolt for a 10.5 14 bolt? You are going from semi floating axles to ful floating axles? I don't think there is any way to convert the 10.5 to 6 lug. I could be wrong. If it can be done then you will probably need to find some 6 lug hubs and swap them.
