need horn help~~~ Please

Have been getting my '86 chevy 3/4 ton NON-tilt truck ready for the road. Removed my Grant wheel and wanted to put the stock one back on. Had saved ALL parts (or so I thought) but came up short one piece. GM is a no-have US wide. By buddy with all the crap is a no-go too. This is s Bakalite looking thing with a 1/8" tab for the horn wire and metal contacts on the other side. The picture is just l like my old one except this one is HUGE. have no idea where it came from but was in my bag of parts in the "adaptor" box. Looks like it might fit a 4 ton GM truck~!! LOL

Steering wheel is stock type 2 GM NON-tilt. Diameter of part is 2 1/2" and fits inside a raised boss on the driver side of wheel. May even have a spring but not sure. It could have fallen out of the wheel yesterday when I got it off the shelf or fallen out 7 years ago when I changed out the wheel, but its no where to be found.

If anyone can help, I"ll pay a fair price and for the mailing too.
thanks!!

Mark in phx.

Thought about that too but it's been 110 plus most days. I'll keep looking, it may have fallen in a box when I pulled it down yesterday. Thanks.

You need the parts in both pictures, the contact, the horn button retainer, and the spring plate. Some use an insulator ring, some don't

I have all those parts in my bag. Just need the contact plate that goes on the outside of the wheel area, just under the flat cone shaped spring plate thingy. Or just touch the wire (it's about 4" long) to the shaft to honk the horn. LOL

Thanks

Mark
