and a 383 and 355 have the same bore which is .30 over but the difference is the 383 has the stroke of a 400 sbc

How exactly is a late 70s small block totally different than a late 80s small block?

383 uses the 400 crank and yes there is 383 that are bored and some are 383 that are not bored

most of the parts from a 70's wouldnt even fit a 88

and that wouldnt be possible for me considering my engine is 210-220 hoss power stock

S10mannn, I suspect when cobalt said you're totally wrong he was referring to your statement that 355's and 383's are both .30 overbore, when in fact they are both .030 overbore. We just wish we could overbore our 350's by .30.
