Need a IFS for a 1957 Chevy Truck, on a budget

Hello all,

I am new to this forums and currently restoring a 1957 Chevy truck. This is my first project and I am working with a company to assist me in restoring my truck. We do the work at my home in riverside ca. The truck is stripped and only the cab is left on the rolling chassis.

Looking for a IFS, I been recommend the No Limit IFS, but it is pricey, $2500. I am on a budget as we all are, so anyone recommend anything else that will work just as well? Prefer not to do a camero clip as it requires a lot of welding and I dont weld so that more $$$.

Thanks in advance for reading my post

Just a little piece of advice, avoid the Mustang 2 front end, it is a bit too lightweight for an old Chevy truck. It is also a good idea to keep the same wheel bolt pattern front and back!
I myself prefer to use OEM parts, it is easier for future maintenance, parts are everywhere!
I have a Camaro clip under my '57 Suburban and I love it, reliable and easy to maintain.

An aftermarket crossmember from a reputable manufacturer will be just fine for the front of your truck. No limit makes a nice piece as does Progressive automotive for what you are looking at. Both Rob at No Limit and Bob over at Progressive are sharp cats and have designed these front suspensions specifically for those trucks.

Front suspension

Look at 1965-1976 Jag front and rear suspension. You can buy a doner car cheap. It has chev bolt pattern.
