I have all ways had good luck with the Mickey Thompson brand slicks.Im not sure if you drive this thing on the street, but if you do,they even have a D.O.T. legal version.Size's vary from make to make, just be sure and get on that fits.It is better to get a tire that is way to small, than to have on that is a little to big.A cut tire sux.Hope that helps!

I second M/T`s, when heated they hook rather well. A firestone was always a good slick as well. I never cared for a good year slick, the one time we fooled with them we had to heat them to H*ll to get them to stick.

At this point I'm kind of partial to drag radials, but my dad has a set of Hoosier DOT Quicktime's that are street legal. Those things seem to hook pretty hard for only a 10.5" wide tire. He has 60' times in the low 1.8 range (but then again so do a lot of cars out there). They seem to be a good tire with the street legal part covered.
