need to know coil spring rate

can anyone tell me the actual spring rate of a front coil from 77 chevy 1 ton c30 dualie pickup 2wd? there what im using, 73-87 models

It would be almost impossible to give a spring rate ... because there are a few different ones installed by GM ... at the factory. SBC, BBC and options all affect the spring rate that GM would install

Most any dirt track guy should have a spring checker ... and tell what the rate is they you have ...
