Question Need a little help deciding

I am building a 427 BBC for a 69 Camaro. This car is going to be a street car driven often but I don't want just anyone to beat me. Here is what I have so far. 100cc Closed chamber oval port heads, ported and polished. Roller cam, (forget the lift but it is street/strip, not mild) roller, rockers. Dual plane intake, Holley 750. Now here is the dilemma. The bottom end. For 427, pistons are limited. I can get a forged TRW at about 10.1 -1 with my heads - and I have to use the factory connecting rods. OR I can get some KB Hypertetic(sp?) at about 9.5-9.8 to 1. With these pistons, I could use an H-Beam floating rod. My buds all say, not enough difference to worry about. But considering, most likely will not spray, and want to drive it often, I'm just not certain if the H-Beam rod advantage outwieghs the 10.1-1 compr ratio. THOUGHTS???? Greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry bout the stock rods on a street motor! Just have them checked for cracks, replace the rod bolts and resize the big ends. Back in the sixties and seventies I built and raced many big block Chevy engines and quite a few of them were 3/8" rod engines. These engines were in serious drag cars, including an econodragster and an old gas/altered they had no problems.
