Need to purchase

a new hand held buffer. I am on a budget like everyone else these days but would appreciate knowing what all of you are using these days. I am a hobbyist not a commercial user. Thank you in advance for any direction.

My budget allows me the same buffer I've used forever. Works fine and doesn't leave buffer swirls! Low cost manual operation!

I've been using a hitachi for a couple or years now, it sees alot of use with buffing and paint stripping with wire wheel and also works my shrinking disc, i have alot of hitachi tools and they are very good quality

All joking aside there are a number of spots on my latest project that need to be hand buffed with rubbing compound. Anyone have a tip on the best way to do it??? Old Terry towels??? Wax applicators???? What do you guys use???
