depending on what kind of power you want to make, less than 350-400hp/tq the first post (350) is a really good price, and if you would like to go with something better than 350-400hp than the second post is a pretty good price as well, if you've never been to this site, it has just about all you would need to build just about any kind of hp/tq motor you want at fair prices (mainly chevy though)

craigslist.org. or just ask around. seems like everyone knows someone with a 350 in their garage. I know a guy who has one here in NC but I doubt you'd want to pay for shipping across the country.

you can also get them from your local u-pull-it style junkyard for ~$150. the 350 short block came in a million different cars and trucks.

im sorry are you looking for an old short block or a fresh one, i wouldn't want to run much hp/tq off of a motor that i didn't know the exact condition of, and it sounded to me that you didn't want to rebuild it yourself
