Exclamation Need Quick Help Plz - Engine Mounts

What is the difference between Buick 231 engine mounts, and Oldsmobile 350 engine mounts? I need to know if the Olds 350 can bolt to the Buick 231 mounts. What other cars engine mounts will fit into my 81 camaro and still fit an Olds engine? I am replacing the engine in my camaro which is a stock Buick 231, with the Olds 350 and the shop we bought it from "had" mounts, but mysteriously now that its time to pick it up, it does not have engine mounts. This puts us in a jam - as presently, the only other mounts we have or can find anywhere are the ones in my camaro now, unless anyone knows anything else compatible. Chevy mounts do not and will not work, as its a BOP engine and engine replacement. I have to pick it up in the morning, and need to get it put in starting the same day, as my hubby goes back to work from leave time on the 15th, and it has to be done by then - the navy could care less about our car issues. Please help, all input appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!
Faith

No, the Buick V6 mounts won`t work either, every GM engine line had it`s own mounts, however, since your Camaro is a F- body, and the trans am`s of the late 70`s came with Olds 403 engines, I would think to just go to your local parts store and ask for engine mounts for a 1979 pontiac trans am with a 403 olds engine, remove the 6 banger mounts and bolt on the Olds mounts, the holes should already be present in the frame so it should be rather simple.

Some engine/body combos need a certain steel bracket between the motor & the mount. Some of these are available from GM.
