Need a smaller oil filter (350 chevy)

So ive got a deep sump oil pan, and a oil cooler adapter plate or something, anyways between the two the stock oil filter wont fit, oil pan flare is in the way.

Now I found one filter that almost fit, a couple taps with a hammer and it will go on but I dont like doing that obviously. Actually I did manage to get one that fit, the guy that worked at minute lube next door gave me a filter one day that was perfect! But being the idiot I am I didnt remember the p/n.

Anyways anyone know of a nice small filter that will fit on a 88 350 chev?

I`m curious where did you get the pan from? Whoever makes the pan had to obviously know this was going to be a issue so the pan should have came with instructions or a forward telling you what type of filter was required or if a external filter would be needed.
