need some help

i know a ton of variables go into this but i was wondering if you give me some input, i have a 1979 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton it has a nonrebuilt but strong 350 chebby, headers, dual exhaust, 3.42 gears,TH350,and 255/65/15 meats everything else is stock. What i was wondering is if one of you guys had a similar
setup and ran it on a dragstrip and what times you got i'd try it myself but the dragstrip is 50 minutes away and don't want to drive that distance if it's not worthwhile.
anything would be appreciated

Hi,
IMO it's always worthwhile to go to the strip, even if I don't
have a ride & a 50 min drive isn't very much, you either want to
race or you don't. excuses only satisfies the person making them.

The only way to know for sure is to go to the drag strip and try it.
