Need some help about my 1967 chevy truck frame

I'm restoreing a 1967 chevy truck frame and i have already used a wire wheel on the outside of my frame and i have that already down to bare steel,i used 80 grit sandpaper to sand the inside of the frame and i cant sand in the hard to reach places on the inside of the frame,i see rust in there and i was wondering what should i use to get rid of it? Is there anything out of eastwood that i could use? Thanks

On a frame like that I would then sandblast the little hard to get places..What you are doing is fine and doing that way saves a lot of sand and money..That can be done with a small spot blaster..

Sam's Right

Ya got to sandblast the spots you can't get at. If you look in my project journal I'm working on a 66 Chev truck and I'm modifying the frame for air bags, boxing the frame for strength and a couple of new cross members for the overdrive trans I'm going to install. If you are going to this much trouble to get rid of the rust get a small sandblaster, you'll be glad you did!!

Does anyone know what kind of mask i can use for sandblasting? Where do i get one of these masks at? I have a 33 gal craftsman aircompresser with 150 psi..Can I use the sand out of a bucket and hook up my sandblasting gun to my 33 gal air compresser and use it? Dont mean to ask so many questions but i never sandblasted before so this is my first time.
